Waterfront Campus
Our hip, new, environmentally-friendly campus with its incredible waterfront views has been completely designed with our focus on student learning at its core. Modern design, open spaces, state-of-the-art technology, along with exciting clusters of programs make this campus a living gallery filled with the energy of a highly-visible learning environment. The campus receives high marks for it whole-building 'green' practices and is one of the first buildings to be recognized for providing environmental leadership in sustainable building design. In comparison to buildings that are constructed to conventional standard, this campus is 50% more energy efficient. In addition, NSCC has started construction on a second building dedicated to trades and technology called the Centre for the Built Environment (CBE) which will open in 2010.
